Culture and language classes are a perfect match for using virtual reality. The cultural virtual tour is an option of having a virtual journey in the classroom and giving the student a certain amount of freedom to explore. In this presentation, I will share my experience creating and using virtual tours in language and culture class taught at Boise State University. These virtual tours included 360 photos, spatial audio, and hotspots, to take the students in a virtual journey to the Sagrada Familia Basilica in Barcelona, Spain, the Jewish Quarter in Córdoba, Spain and the Carmel Mission in California.
